At Pickering’s, we’ve always had a bit of a thing for cocktails – from timeless classics to curious new creations. So, we thought it was high time we opened our doors and let you in on a few of our favourite secrets.
Join us every weekend for our hands-on cocktail sessions, where you’ll shake, stir and sip your way through a carefully crafted line-up. Each session changes with the seasons, and we throw in a few themed specials throughout the year – think Valentine’s, Mother’s Day, Christmas and more.

Pickering's Gin Christmas Bauble Workshop
Our Christmas Cocktail Bauble Workshop returns after a sold-out run last year! In this festive workshop, you'll craft two delicious cocktails, decide which drink you prefer, and pour the cocktail ingredients into three baubles

Cocktail Craft Masterclass
Our Cocktail Masterclass will introduce you to all the techniques that you need to nail to become a master in mixology and impress your friends. Joined by our expert mixologists, you'll learn the intricacies of flavour pairing, crafting three signature cocktails, and the techniques that elevate your drinking experience.

- 3 x full-strength cocktails (either Gin, Vodka, or Whisky)
- Snacks on the tables

Cheese & Cocktail: A Pairing Masterclass
Guided by our expert mixologist and cheese enthusiast, you’ll embark on a journey full of flavours that excite the senses and immerse you in the rich local heritage of Edinburgh's Food Scene with both locally crafted spirits and cheese by Mellis Cheesemonger.
Included:
- 3 x full-strength gin cocktails
- A platter with six different types of Scottish cheeses accompanied by crackers
