We are hosting the first ever Pickering's Gin Supper Club with Fhior on Tuesday 7th May 2019.
Pickering’s Gin Global Brand Ambassador Stevie Watson has been working alongside Scott & Laura Smith at Fhior to create a bespoke 4-course menu with botanically paired Pickering’s Gin cocktails; expect lots of incredible local produce, exquisite flavour pairings and a personally hosted evening of chat about how this gastronomic collaboration became a reality hosted by Stevie & Scott themselves.
Stevie has taken inspiration from Scott & Laura’s ethos and focus of sourcing top quality, local ingredients. She’s specifically enhanced certain botanicals and flavours from the gin that will showcase each of the dish’s components, then carefully matched the taste profiles to pair with the food.
Fhior, an adaptation of the word for ‘true’ in Gaelic, was opened in June 2018 by Scott and Laura Smith with the vision to create a dining experience that is reflective of the restaurant’s namesake.
At the heart of everything they do is sourcing the finest local seasonal produce. All of their menus and dishes begin with highlighting a key ingredient in the peak of its season to creatively enhance its vibrancy and flavour. Fhior allows you to enjoy food and hospitality delivered with passion and skill, without pretension.
It only seemed right to embark on this gastronomic collaboration between two local brands championing local produce in the finest of ways
